Impact Copywriting that Converts

No more nightmares. Impact copywriting.

Advertising is an uninvited guest into the lives of those it touches. Impact copywriting is used to get attention.

So, how do copywriters break through the noise of life everyday? Here are some formulas they follow.

Advertising copywriting formulas for impact copywriting.
Table by Chase Dimond

The copywriting formula that I use, and isn’t on the list above, was developed by James Patterson. The bestselling author started out as a copywriter and became the CEO of ad agency J. Walter Thompson:

SS – show them something Surprising and then something Smart.

Example from J. Walter Thompson

“No More Nightmares.”

“Wet diapers don’t just hamper a child’s sleep. It’s also a nightmarish experience for the parents.”

Anyone with new babies can relate. The nightmare is real for all involved (image above). The campaign in Asia was very successful.
